Grant B. Walsh is the founder of Walsh Delta Group Inc. focusing on executive resources for corporate governance, dispute resolution, executive coaching, negotiation and strategy audits. He is an experienced CEO/Corporate Director who understands the pressures of executive life and brings a knowledgeable perspective to situational analysis and dynamics.

Walsh continues to serve as Managing Partner/CEO of EC Murphy Walsh, a consulting firm specializing in strategic thinking, performance improvement, and talent development in healthcare, health-related, and service organizations. Walsh Delta Group and EC Murphy Walsh are based in Burlington, Ontario.

Prior to establishing Walsh Delta Group and EC Murphy Walsh, Mr. Walsh was President/CEO of St. Peter’s Health System in Hamilton, Ontario, a regional provider of integrated healthcare services. He developed and operated a continuum of care system which included 698 healthcare beds, five home health agencies, a centre for research and education, and a charitable foundation.

Previously, Mr. Walsh was Executive Vice President of The ServiceMaster Company, Chicago, Illinois, where he was accountable for $550 million (U.S.) in revenue, and 30,000 employees serving 10,000 client locations in 44 states and Canada.

Walsh has operated hospitals, long-term care facilities, continuing-care retirement communities, home health services, and consulting firms in Ontario, New York, Ohio, Illinois and Missouri. He has operated service businesses in 10 provinces and 44 states.

Mr. Walsh holds an MBA from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, IL in Finance and a BA in English and Philosophy from Roberts Wesleyan College, Rochester, NY. He has pursued specialized study at Harvard University, McMaster University, Cornell University, and the University at Buffalo, a campus of the State University of New York.

In 2006, Mr. Walsh was named Executive-in-Residence/Adjunct Professor at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University. He received a designation as a Chartered Director (C.Dir.) from the DeGroote School of Business and the Conference Board of Canada.

Walsh has served on twenty-seven Boards of Directors and as Chairman of six. He is Past Chair of both the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra and Royal Botanical Gardens.

Grant Walsh is currently serving on the boards of Cleveland Clinic Canada and Medifocus Inc. He is Lead Director of Medifocus and Chairman of the Governance Committee. Medifocus is traded on the TSXV venture exchange with a ticker MFS.

Walsh is a member of the Burlington Golf and Country Club, Burlington, Ontario and the National Club, Toronto, Ontario.
