Grant B. Walsh, Chairman of Medifocus Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Ernie Eves, QC, to the Board of Directors of Medifocus Inc.

Mr. Eves is the Former Premier of the Province of Ontario. As Premier, his responsibilities encompassed a budget of more than $70 billion and 65,000 employees. Prior to serving as Premier, he was Deputy Premier and Minister of Finance. He held numerous portfolios during his 24 years in public life which began as a member of the Provincial Legislature in 1981.

Mr. Eves has had a distinguished career in both the public and private sectors. Currently, he is the Executive Chairman of Jacob Securities Inc., an investment bank. He currently serves as an advisor and board member for several firms in Canada and the United States.

Ernie Eves is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School. He was called to the bar in 1972 and in 1983 was made a Queen’s Counsel.

Medifocus Inc (TSX-V: MFS) owns a patented microwave focusing technology which can precisely target and concentrate microwave energy to destroy cancer tumours without damaging healthy tissue.
